Release Engineer

We are seeking a senior .net developers who is well versed with Microsoft Technologies.The desired candidate must have hands on experience in Asp.net, C#, MVC, Web Services, Jquery, Javascript  & Sql Server.

This is an interesting opportunity to devise, execute and work collaboratively with an exceptional design and technology team driving innovative products.

The right applicant will possess strong experience Microsoft Technologies and should posses good understanding of OOPS Concept & Design Patterns.

 This role will enjoy great visibility and have tremendous ownership! 

Responsibilities: 

  • Collaborate with Development, QA and other teams to ensure a smooth transition of deliverables through proper release channels. 
  • All Live sites and Server mentoring. 
  • Manage and improve the integrated build pipeline, including all development, testing, acceptance, and staging environments.
  • Manage the release process, from initial scheduling to actual release coordination through post-release support. Integrate existing tools and develop new tools and scripts to improve the Jenkins build infrastructure, introducing automation wherever possible.
  • Establish and implement standards for build artifact management. 
  • Monitor and troubleshoot environmental issues as needed.
  • Participate in release activities with the cross-functional Agile project teams.
  • Creating, maintaining, and augmenting build scripts.
  • Define and manage the release and branch change strategy across all applications.
  • Define, develop, implement, document and evolve continuous integration and delivery tooling and standards.

Desired Profile:

  • B.E / B.Tech (Computer Science/IT)
  • Minimum 2 years experience in DevOps
  • Microsoft certified
  • IIS 7/8 
  • Windows Server 2012 R2
  • Source Control, TFS 2012 / 2013, Build and Automation, Continuous Integration Tools and TFS release Manager.
  • Experience working with an open-source continuous integration tool, preferably Jenkins CI
  • Monitoring Tools like Data Dog, Garfana 
  • skills: C#, .NET
  • TFS, Release, ITIL
  • MS Build, Power Shell, C#
